The ministry of Industry, Energy, Research and Labour, GEUS and Nunaoil is conducting a resource assessment for the whole of the Greenland continental shelf.
The aim of the project is to provide an estimate of a quantitative, play-based Yet-to-Find potential of conventional hydrocarbons on the Greenland continental shelf areas involving all sedimentary basins.
The project is divided into seven assessment units (AU1-AU7) covering more than 2.4 million km2.
A further description of the project, methods, data results and QC can be found at the website https://greenland-resource-assessment.gl/. Petroleum exploration companies can download a full work package of the project, free of charge, from the webpage.
