Greenlandic Consumer and Competition Authority
The Greenlandic Consumer and Competition Authority works for well-functioning markets, which, among other things, are characterised by the efficient use of resources and good interaction between consumers and businesses.
In the consumer area, the Authority enforces the Landsting Act on marketing and labelling and is the secretariat for the Consumer Complaints Board, which deals with complaints about the purchase of goods and services. The Authority is also responsible for www.atuisoq.gl, which is a portal for public consumer information.
In the competition area, the Authority approves larger mergers, investigates and intervenes in violations of the Competition Act, and advises companies and authorities about competition rules.
The Greenlandic Consumer and Competition Authority is the secretariat for the Housing Complaints Board, The Social Appeals Board, Consumer Complaints Board, Competition Complaints Board, Environmental Protection Complaints Committee and Nature Complaints Committee.
The Greenlandic Consumer and Competition Authority attends to the tasks of the Telecom Authority and Radio Administration.
